Social Workers

Our social workers have over 40 years of combined experience at Cross Timbers Hospice. They help patients and caregivers with social, emotional, psychological, and financial concerns.

They assist with advanced care planning such as Advanced Directives and DNRs.

Our social workers act as a resource to local and national community programs such as; food pantries, financial planning, transportation, service planning, and estate planning.

Spiritual Care & Bereavement

Our team of chaplains provide spiritual care during the end-of-life for the caregivers during their hospice journey.

Our Caregiver Support Program provides extra emotional support to family members and friends as they cope with their changing role of being a caregiver.

Our bereavement counselors provide pre-bereavement services and bereavement services for at least 13 months after their loved one’s passing. We have monthly grief support groups and events throughout the year that are open to the community.
